The 'eight postures' routine, 'ba shi' of Hebei style xingyiquan, explained and demonstrated in much detail by Di Guoyong. Also included in the video is the Protect the Body paired routine. Di shows full speed, explains clearly, and the the video shows slow motion. The eight postures routine is a traditional short routine of xingyi. It is a really nice little routine still at the basic level, but with a few cool techniques and some new ideas in footwork. You should learn this routine before the partner routine, anshenpao, to get comfortable with the footwork.
