Taught by Zhang LIhui for children. Zhang Lihui is a fifth duan, and is very VERY specific about every technique. The format is simple to follow, though dry. She always shows the technique, shows it again with her young assistant, then gets the child to do it alone, sometimes correcting the child. This is an excellent teaching video series, you can learn all the techniques from it. Her young assistant is pretty darn good, too, which is encouraging to young students.
Basics: run time 86:08. Training methods, stances, hands, etc.
Routine #2 (rank 2): run time 53:29. A 34 move empty hand routine iwth a bit of complexity and rhythm.
Routine #3 (rank 3): run time 63:54. A 34 move empty hand routine with more contents, complexity, and jumping techniques.
Broadsword (rank 3): run time 59:24. An 18 move routine with the most essential broadsword techniques.
Straight sword (rank 3): run time 58:32. An 18 move routine with the most sword techniques.
I have five titles left. I am out of the routine #1, staff, and spear. I am discontinuing, not because I don't like the series, but because sooner or later the ranking routines will probably be changed and I don't want to be caught with stock on the shelves.
