  • Ziranmen Kungfu Academy in various towns in Australia. One of my old classmates from Beijing, Liu Deming, is the main instructor. He was very skilled even back in the eighties, and looks amazing now. He teaches Liu He Zi Ran style from a traditional lineage, and also teaches other styles (Australia).

  • Coiling Dragon Wushu Mark Lee Pringle's studio has classes in several styles of taiji, bagua, several southern styles, lion & dragon dance, and basic language instruction in Mandarin & Cantonese (Girard OH).
  • Donnie Yen's website. Cool photos of Donnie looking sexy, but for those uninterested in that, there are some interesting writings on his approach to martial arts movies.
  • Dragon Phoenix Wushu Team in Ohio State University (Ohio).
  • Dynamic Wushu, the site and club of Kenny Perez, another one of the first generation wushu guys in North America. There is an amazing video of him squeezing himself into a pipe, incredible flexibility.
  • Embrace the Moon is a club that has Chen and other styles, run by Kim Ivy (Seattle, WA). Zen Lapin visited with Kim Ivy in November.
  • Empty Flower is a site with tons of stuff on xingyiquan run by David Devere. It has a nice five element demo video, only one of many on the site. Watch out if you want to participate in the chat room, though. (new site url, same site)
  • Extreme Kungfu is a wushu club run by Anthony Marquez (Evanston, IL)

  • Furiousg is a site with lots of little wushu video clips. Mostly American stuff, but some great video clips of Chinese athletes - some inspiring clips of training sessions. The wushu video clips actually come from wushu central. These videos are cool and some are even retro!

  • The Gilman Studio teaches Yang taiji and qigong, and has online Yang taiji instruction (Port Townsend WA)
  • goTaiji is the site to check for seminars of Chen Xiaowang, Chen Zhenglei, and Zhu Tiancai in the U.S. It is not updated enough, but you can email the organizer and he is quite quick to get back to you. Zen Lapin visited C.P. Ong, the organizer.
